While I am somewhat liking the new look, I can agree that in cases of the linked screenshot, the approach is rather inefficient. I would be happy with transparent backgrounds and a thin thumbnail border. That way, it is still there to divide an image from the text alongside it, but not so much to be jarring. :Well, that's actually what we had before, just a thin coloured line. I personally quite liked that, and it is what I'll go back to when I tweak myskin.css. --Jasca Ducato <small>(talk | contributions)</small> 15:34, June 30, 2014 (UTC) | |||

I thought I would ask here, before going direct to Wikia about this. Am I the only one who has suddenly found that our thumbnail images no longer have a bored around them? they're just floating there; it looks ridiculous.
Now, I seem to remember the floating image issue being discussed at length some time ago, and the decision was made the place all images in a thumbnail (with a border). Of course, this being a Wikia change, our consensus means nothing, apparently.
I'm quite happy to simply tweak myskin.css to fix the issue (for me), but I wanted to get your views on the matter. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 23:43, June 29, 2014 (UTC)
