I'm not sure if they meant "you should update yours", I think it may have been more of a "we already have it elsewhere in extensive detail, so why duplicate it someone spared you work?", though I could be misreading tone in the wrong place. Hi, Darman! What I meant was that I needed to update myself and my knowledge, as my previous timeline didn't include all the parts from the games. I appreciate your notice in the edit summary about the Greco=Romans, but try not to worry about it too much. As a wiki that anyone can edit, every page here is technically still a work in progress, particularly the oldest pages that need updates to match current style standards, so there's bound to be things we miss or areas where we can't quite nail down the wording. Isu Temples

Hi TiagoFF,
Love your gallery of Isu Temples, it's very well organized! I decided to impliment it into the Temple page, so thought I'd tell you so you can clear it from your page. RE:Odyssey timeline

Hello Tiago. I've just returned to this project. Apologies for being slow at getting back to you. In order for me to have full clarity of how accurate our timeline is turning out, I will need to construct my own chart of the different timelines suggested by the multiple sources and by different users. I have started progress on it, and it will complement your page because I will use yours as a reference as well. It differs from your page in that while you're trying to fit in every memory in the game, I am comparing the chronologies between sources so we have an established reference page for the inconsistencies since we're bound to forget the fine details after a while. I intend to finish this page as soon as possible, and I will definitely work on it every Thursday, but I also am working on our wiki's article on ACSisterhood at the moment, so I need to finish that by the end of this month, so I will be prioritizing on that.

Once I am done with the chart, I can help out with the final unresolved questions about the timeline. Off the top of my head, I'm not sure about the Cyclops, but I was tempted to treat the Lysander and Demosthenes quests as ahistorical to Kassandra's life. I'm not so sure, but I think Lysander should be too young to be a commander during the events of Odyssey. It's about 20 years before his rise to fame at the end of the war, but then again his Wikipedia page doesn't give his age, and it's not impossible for him to have been very old by that point. In any case, I remember Lacrosse thinks Kassandra should have been in jail during the Battle of Megara of 424 BCE since the novel mentions that the Battle of Delium passed during her imprisonment, and the Battle of Megara historically took place between Pylos and Delium I think. However, the novel fudges up all kinds of dates about events that transpired during her imprisonment. I can't recall (or find) if the game also mentions the Battle of Delium in passing.

If indeed Kassandra participated in the Battle of Megara, then we should be able to safely assume she fought with the Spartans against Demosthenes though. At that point in time, she had joined with the Spartans again. Unless she could have been doing Demosthenes' Spartan-hunting quests before she left Athens in the wake of the plague (before proceeding to help Lysander in turn), I don't think she ever canonically helps Demosthenes. Notwithstanding this, one would think if she really did kill so many polemarchs for Demosthenes, she would have never been given a chance to reclaim her home in Sparta. And historically, there were only ever six Sparta polemarchs at a time because they commanded the largest divisions in the army while Athenian polemarchs were ceremonial military officers since actual military command had been transferred over to the position of strategos. It might be noted that the dialogues seem to go out of their way to not refer to the commanders you're tasked to kill as actually polemarchs, which could just be a gameplay term used incorrectly. Regardless, there's just a lot of problems with this pair of questlines. Sol Pacificus^(Cyfiero) 09:18, 28 December 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for adding the missing bits for the first part of Valhalla's modern day as well as starting the next box. I don't know if you're aware, but I've (technically informally, since this is a wiki) claimed the modern day as my project in the "Target board" that Soranin linked above at the start of the month. I'm still writing a draft of it because this month has been busy, but I do appreciate your having reduced my work so far. Sorry, didn't see your request to claim the modern day in the section, only saw the page in general. I'm currently researching the dialogues mid-game. If you want you can stay with the final two parts of Valhalla, the one where Layla leaves the cabin and the other when she explores the Yggdrasil and the Basim dialogues in the cabin. No worries! I know we're all busy with our own projects and so may not have seen the board update. Yeah, I think those last parts are all that is left for Valhalla, with the exception of any ambient lines not tied to cutscenes, like when Layla reads the fridge note, so good on you for gettig the first part. And thanks for the heads up on Brotherhood. I found some extra AC1 stuff and a few missed ACOD lines, but I didn't know Brotherhood was also missing parts, so I'll look into it. – Darman (talk) 13:05, 29 December 2021 (UTC)

Minotaur talk

Just so we're not constantly reverting that text block, I'd put it at the end of "He Waits" (currently typing it right now). Unless players let time pass and they miss it, these lines seem to be said whenever Kassandra next takes the Adrestia's helm, which could be forever if the player uses fast travel but in-universe would have to be the moment she returns to the closest Messaran port she docked at. – Darman (talk) 23:40, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

Yeah, I think you win this one. It's technically more correct to do that. Actually, I personally listened to it in my second playthrough (the first one I really just used Fast Travel), when going to Thera to store the artifact in the vault, so it makes sense that the dialogue is linked to that memory. - TiagoFF (talk) 00:04, 13 January 2022 (UTC)

Just a quick note, if it's easier for you, I can move the other "A Brother's Keeper" pics by Batfan13 to new file names without a redirect. Just give the names you want first, and I can save you the hassle of having to constantly place {Delete} everywhere. That would be great. The last pic I uploaded was the image 11. It would be very useful if you could change the name to the following numbers unless if you want to keep the images in chronological order. I think it'd be best if we keep images in as chronological order as possible. Actually, I'll hold off on moving pics because we could also do with some pics of Eivor and Sigurd from before stepping on the elevator platform. So name any pics you have like Batfan did, and then once we have all the pics, then I can rename them and fix old numbered ones as needed. Isu words

You said that the Isu words spoken by the Odin's Eye in Tombs of the Fallen are backed by Antoine Henry. I trust you, since Isu words seems to be his niche area for Ubisoft. But where did he verify this translation? I cannot find any comments from him about it on his Twitter, though maybe I have not scrolled back far enough. – Darman (talk) 14:50, 16 July 2023 (UTC)

I had almost forgotten about that article, thank you! Portuguese

Thanks for cleaning up the Portuguese I wrote in "The Lord's Favor". I don't speak it, but I copied it off the Portuguese streamer @BRKsEDU's video that had the game's subtitles on. Guess I misread them a few times, I didn't know I had mistyped those words. Don't worry about that, Darman. Portuguese isn't really an easy language so that's totally fine! :) There are even a lot of things that diverge from Brazilian Portuguese and, well, Portuguese Portuguese, so I'm glad I can help in that department. About cleaning the transcript articles of memories that have Portuguese, I'll see if I get to it when I have the time to actually buy and play Shadows. Have been really busy since I entered college and that's why I haven't been very active or interacting with y'all on Discord. Would really love to find the time to continue doing that.
