When I'm writing something and hyperlink a word to another page, first line is for the page and second is for how the word will appear in the text. But then when you put the cursor over the word as it appears, the full link is showen. On other links when you do this only the word or maybe a person's full name is showen. How do I do this?<br />

To make a link the way you asked, you have to use a different type of link. Instead of typing, say, <nowiki>[http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Ezio_Auditore_da_Firenze Ezio]</nowiki>, you can type <nowiki>[[Ezio Auditore da Firenze|Ezio]]</nowiki>. The word on the left is the page that you want to link to, and the word on the right is the text that will appear on the screen when reading the article. Hope that helps, <font face="Calibri" size=3>'''[[User:Ozzyjalo94|<font color="#BF0000">OZ</font>]][[User talk:Ozzyjalo94|<font color="#BF0000">ZY</font>]]'''</font> 09:15, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

To make a link the way you asked, you have to use a different type of link. Instead of typing, say, [http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Ezio_Auditore_da_Firenze Ezio], you can type [[Ezio Auditore da Firenze|Ezio]]. The word on the left is the page that you want to link to, and the word on the right is the text that will appear on the screen when reading the article. Hope that helps, OZZY 09:15, January 11, 2011 (UTC)
