:Civil war is the more descriptive term, though, considering it's used for wars between organized groups that belong to the same major organization. ::Correct me if I'm wrong, but I always thought that the term "civil war" was to denote like a power struggle within ones' own country. Wouldn't the Shimazu clan fighting amongst themselves on foreign not count as a civil war? Maybe Shimazu clan rebellion? - Civil war is the more descriptive term, though, considering it's used for wars between organized groups that belong to the same major organization. I don't think it should be renamed. - Soranin (talk) 12:51, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
