Real life character?

The Palaeologos dynasty is a real one and there was indeed a Manuel Palaeologos who ruled over the Byzantine Empire but only from 1391 until he died in 1425 (wikipedia:Manuel II Palaiologos). The game takes place in 1511...

I know that Game Informer stated "real-life historical figure" but they are not Ubisoft themselves, they may have mistaken the character with the latter. I googled a potential Manuel III Palaiologos who may have been his descendant but I found nothing. Shouldn't we reconsider whether or not he's a real-life character? --PhantomT1412 16:37, July 21, 2011 (UTC)

No. Manuel Palaiologos on Wikipedia. -- Master Sima Yi 16:41, July 21, 2011 (UTC)
