:Hmm, my take is that it's probably because it's based on and followed the actual Wikipedia title, which is listed as simply Jacobin instead. Looking at the edit history, it was first created as just 'Jacobin', but then moved to 'Jacobins' instead. The organization has a number of names, but since Jacobins is a much more simplified term, I guess they just stick to that. Name of the article

- Hmm, my take is that it's probably because it's based on and followed the actual Wikipedia title, which is listed as simply Jacobin instead. Looking at the edit history, it was first created as just 'Jacobin', but then moved to 'Jacobins' instead.
