The doctor's never named in the game, and even though he does give Pietro something to drink ([[Intervention]]), he makes no mention that the concoction is his own design. Those are details from the novelization.
Also, looking closer, I failed to find mention of the leeches neutralizing the poison; their recovery ensuring effects are mentioned in both the game and the book, though.

Differentiating between game/book details?

The doctor's never named in the game, and even though he does give Pietro something to drink (Intervention), he makes no mention that the concoction is his own design. Those are details from the novelization.

Also, looking closer, I failed to find mention of the leeches neutralizing the poison; their recovery ensuring effects are mentioned in both the game and the book, though.

Should we make note of what details are from the book, what from the game? Sadelyrate (talk) 17:07, February 2, 2013 (UTC)
