How have you tried getting back to it? Because I hear there is a dock for it at the Homestead, I don't have the game yet btw so...careful with spoilers. 06:57, November 5, 2012 (UTC)

She does dock at the homestead, but there's no difference between there (in terms of player options) and the city ports - you can fast travel between cities and the frontier, but you can't go to the non-harbor fast travel points (despite being able to do so from in-game map at any time) or you can upgrade her. Now, there are peg leg missions, 4-ish story missions and some privateer contracts that you access from that fast travel screen, but they can only be done once.

They let you spend upwards of $100k (might be 200k-300k, haven't actually done the math) on her and then give you 12-18 very short missions with her and that's it. Zero-G Mako (talk) 16:02, November 5, 2012 (UTC)

I really believe they have something planned for it with the DLC; why would they make pay that much money for it if you're only going to be able to play a handful of missions with it? Ubisoft has to be smarter than that!24.22.124.18 00:28, November 6, 2012 (UTC)

Pirates versus ninja

The assassins from the last couple of games does have abilities similar to ninjas but are not refered to as such. The same thing applies to sailing a ship.

Aquila's Class

I begin to wonder what class is the Aquila, after some research I found that the Aquila Could be a hybrid of a brig and a frigate

It is quite difficult because of its rigging (Brigs have two masts) , number of decks (Brigs usually have one deck, Frigates have three decks but also have three masts)

also i have noted from the video The Aquila has studding sails which are the ones that can fold in and out from the main sail to increase speed LordHighSubtitute (talk) 12:41, October 6, 2012 (UTC)

Could she be a brigantine (aka hermaphrodite brig) or a brig sloop? Zero-G Mako (talk) 01:32, November 5, 2012 (UTC)

I remember reading in the database something about it being a schooner, but I can't remember clearly. I'll add the info from the database tonight, when I go on the game Eggy2504 (talk) 08:39, November 5, 2012 (UTC)

Aquila color schemes

I noticed that the articles mentions that there are different color schemes available for the Aquila, but I haven't found a way to switch between them in-game. is it something that shows up in the ledger by the harbormaster only once you have another available? Zero-G Mako (talk) 21:54, November 3, 2012 (UTC)

Same with being able to take her out between missions - did that even make it into the final game? Zero-G Mako (talk) 07:24, November 4, 2012 (UTC)

How It got wrecked

The Animus database says it was wrecked by a storm while chasing a templar ship. Could it be the ship chasing the chasing the Providence is the Aquila?

No free roam?

First off, props to the developers for making this masterpiece apart from the (SPOILERS) crap revolving around Connor's hood, it was a good game. However, I thought I heard from several sources that there would a be a free roam aspect to the naval part of the game. I swore I heard Alex Hutchinson mention something about that during the Eurogamer conferance. Maybe they're saving it for DLC, but the odds don't favor that. I thought it was a poor decision to leave that out. Wouldn't it be cool if we could free roam in the carribean and take down randomly spawned enemy ships; it's a little unfair to have to spend so much money upgrading the Aquila why don't they let us use it for as much tiem as we want? Ubisoft does state that they listen to fan feeback. Maybe we should petition?TheSmallLebowski (talk) 06:55, November 5, 2012 (UTC)
