―As Lushan stating the Yeluohe's slogan to Gao Lishi, 754[src]-[m]

The Yeluohe (曳落河) was a branch of the Order of the Ancients in China which was led by jiedushi An Lushan during the Tang dynasty. It was established after splintering off from the main group of the Golden Turtles.[1]

History

In 754, An Lushan, the member of Golden Turtles, returned to Chang'an to participate the feast. Elated at his appearance, the Emperor had immediately gifted Lushan with the new position Left Deputy to the Secretary of State Affairs (尚書左僕射) as a nominal title, along with a thousand households, ten rooms of servants, and an estate district to accompany it. An Lushan continued to ask for rewards, appointing him the position of xiánjiù qúnmùshǐ (閑廄群牧使) and had confirmed kills the rank of zhōnglángjiàng (中郎將).[1]

In 755, because of the hopelessness of becoming the leader of the Golden Turtles, and the deep personal enmity with Yang Guozhong. He returned to Fanyang, summoned his subordinates and condemned Yang Guozhong for his mistakes. He falsely claimed the secret order of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang to terminate Yang Guozhong. After that, he named his 8,000 soldiers as Yeluohe. Shi Siming guarded Fanyang Commandery and he rebelled to against the Tang dynasty.[1]
