Yang Yuhuan (Chinese: 楊玉環; 719 – 756) also known as Yang Guifei (Chinese: 楊貴妃), was consort of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang during the 8th century.
After the fall of Tongguan, she fled to Maweiyi with Emperor Xuanzong of Tang. There, they suffered a mutiny. In order to protect his safety, she willingly went to death and was eventually hanged by the eunuch.
