Ezio jumps from the training yard of the Villa, onto a horse at the foot of the stairway. He rides for cannons through the city as it gets bombarded by cannons. The townspeople are running around in panic.

A wall falls across Ezio's path as he approaches the front gate. It kills his horse but he manages to jump off in time. He begins using a ladder which is then destroyed along with a large section of the city wall, he then climbs up the remains and runs towards the cannons.
Man: Signor Auditore, thank God! We must hold them back until the villagers escape!
Ezio: Load the cannon.
Man: Destroy their cannons Signore (Sir). We have lost everything. Aim carefully, we can't withstand this attack much longer! Nearly half the townspeople have made it out! Reload. Reload. Aahhh! The cannon operator next to Ezio is killed, and Ezio's own cannon is destroyed. He switches places.

Ezio runs along the battlements towards the attackers that have breached the walls.
