Valeria.

Valeria was the partner of the Gallo-Roman Assassin Aquilus.

After Aquilus had avenged his father's death in 259, he returned home to Valeria. After they had shared an intimate moment, Aquilus took Valeria down to their mansion's basement and explained to her what the Ankh was and what it did. He then activated the Ankh and it showed him a message from his father, who had recorded it just before his death.

During these events they were interrupted by a group of Roman soldiers who arrested both of them, and escorted them to Rome. While traveling through a forest, they were ambushed by Aquilus' cousin Accipiter, an Assassin who had secretly heard of their capture from the prefect of Lugdunum. One of the Roman soldiers, in a moment of panic, slit Aquilus' throat, resulting in his death.

Accipiter took Aquilus' corpse and Valeria with him, and Valeria informed him of the past events. However, she explained that she did not remember how to use the Ankh, and Accipiter advised her to hide the artifact somewhere. Valeria told Accipiter that she would go to Aquilus' cousin in Monteriggioni in Italy, to which Accipiter requester her to erect a statue in memory of Aquilus there and hide the Ankh in it.

Some time later, Valeria traveled to Monteriggioni, and carried out Accipiter's request.
