Ursine Guard was a shield utilized by Norse berserkrs in the 9th century.^[1]

In 2020, Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relived Eivor Varinsdottir's memories, modified her Animus and included this shield as part of the shieldmaiden's arsenal.^[2]
