Uplay is a service created by Ubisoft to provide an experience similar to the trophies/achievements offered by Sony and Microsoft respectively. This service is provided across all three platforms (PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and most recently, Facebook) and is currently in beta stage. - Community Developer Gabriel Graziani has stated that there are not enough Uplay Units to be earned in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood for all of the Uplay rewards available.
