The tomahawk was a type of axe used by Ratonhaketon (Connor Kenway) and other native americans, which was most effective in close combat.
During the American Revolutionary War, the Mohawk Assassin Connor Kenway used a tomahawk with a head resembling the Assassin insignia. He would often dual-wield it alongside another weapon, such as the short blade. The tomahawk is Connor's primary weapon. (atleast that is what it seems like as of May 26, 2012)
