The Theia was a trireme captained by The Octopus, a member of the Gods of the Aegean Sea branch of the Cult of Kosmos.

During the Peloponnesian War the Theia crossed paths with the Adrestia, a ship commandeered by the Spartan misthios Kassandra and captained by Barnabas. In the following conflict The Octopus was slain.[1]

Trivia

  • The name of the ship references a Titaness in Greek mythology, Theia. She was the sister/consort of Hyperion.
  • In Greek language, the word θείᾱ (theíā) means 'aunt', though as the name of the Titan, it's taken rather as a derivative of θεᾱ́ (theā́), which means 'goddess'.
