The Sixth Day was a virtual representation of one of Ezio Auditore da Firenze's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.
Description
Ezio Auditore entered the maze-like ruins of the Palazzo Laterano, former residence of the Pope. Making his way through the Palazzo, Ezio reached a basilica, which was also the location of a shrine to Romulus. Realizing the chamber was inaccessible due to a large steel gate blocking the path, Ezio scanned the room for a solution to the problem. Knowing what he had to do, Ezio sought out and destroyed the sand bag weights holding a large chandelier in place, resulting in the chandelier breaking free of its supports, swinging through the room, knocking over a large cross and destroying the gate in the process.
Ezio entered the shrine of Romulus, claimed the scroll and one of the six keys, before returning back to Rome.
Dialogue
Ezio realized that the shrine was blocked by a large gate.
- Ezio: Magnifico. (Magnificent.)
Ezio destroyed the gate and gained access to the shrine.
- Ezio: Amen.
Outcome
Ezio retrieved a key and a Scroll of Romulus.
Trivia
- This is the only Lair of Romulus not to feature any Followers of Romulus.
- The key taken with the Scroll is one of six which are required to unlock the Armor and Dagger of Brutus.
- There are three Borgia flags available to find in this Secret Location.
- The music that plays throughout this memory is "Acre Underworld" from the original Assassin's Creed game.
- A Shrunken Head, one of the rarest Trade Objects in the game, that is required for the shop quest Exotica can be found in the room right from the shrine's door.
