The George was a pub in the City of London, London in the 19th century.

History

In 1868, the British Assassin Jacob Frye entered the establishment after being told by his ally Duleep Singh about a man named Cornelius Toti-Button, a friend of the Royal Jeweller, drinking there. Talking with Cornelius, Jacob engaged in a drinking match with Toti-Button, which led them leaving the pub as Fyre questioned Cornelius about the location of the Koh-i-Noor.[1]
