Ezio, my friend! How may I be of service? This article has a lot of room for expansion. Please improve it with additional information in accordance with the Manual of Style |

The Bazaar was a grand marketplace in the Karkh district of Baghdad, where most of the merchants from the Abbasid Caliphate and beyond such as China and Constantinople came to do business. Located at the heart of the Tabik sub-district, The Bazaar was particularly known for the yearly Da'irat Al-mal (English: Grand Auction), where exotic and rare goods were put up for auction.
During the 9th century, the Order of the Ancients member Ning used The Bazaar as her seat of influence, where she controlled the shipment of goods and items in and out of the city. Her abilities and skills earned her the seat of the Caliph's Treasurer.[1]
