Sun Yat-sen (12 November 1866 – 12 March 1925) was a Chinese revolutionary and politician who led the Xinhai Revolution. He served as the Provisional President of the Republic of China in 1912. He co-founded the Kuomintang after Xinhai Revolution, serving as its first leader.
