The Storm Fortress was one of seven legendary ships encountered and sunk by the Assassin-turned-Templar Shay Cormac in the North Atlantic during the Seven Years' War.

In battle, the Storm Fortress used mortars to keep her targets at bay, as well as unleashing devastating broadsides. The Storm Fortress possesses 52 cannons on each broadside, shooting all of them 4 times in 4 salvos. Therefore, the player should avoid the broadside of the Storm Fortress at any cost. Additionally, it can hit the player with it's cannonshots at a distance of over 400 meters. If the player is to far away for its cannons, the Storm Fortress will use its mortar to attack. When she had received sufficient damage, the Storm Fortress was reinforced by two other Men O' War, the Argonaut and the Scepter. Despite all of these advantages, she was eventually sunk by the Morrigan.

Trivia

  • Defeating the Storm Fortress, the Argonaut and the Sceptre awarded Shay the Storm Fortress' figurehead and sails depicting a kraken.
