Stefano da Bagnone (1418-1480) is one of the Pazzi conspirators who attempted to murder Lorenzo de' Medici. He was a monk and an advisor to Jacopo de Pazzi. As one of the men whom Jacopo de' Pazzi hired to kill Lorenzo, he was the one who stabbed Lorenzo in the back at the Duomo. He was known for his cruelty towards others. Stefano was trained in Rome as a Templar Butcher. He flees Florence and hides in the Monte Oliveto Maggiore, a monastery near San Gimignano. Before being assassinated by Ezio, Bagnone was telling another monk that God did not exist.
