I wanted to ask you something. Which is... what's your name?
This article title is conjecture. Although the article subject is canon, no official name for it has been given.
"So this is meant to be the mighty champion Theagenes. Preserved for all time... sitting on his ass."

Statue of Theagenes

The Statue of Theagenes was an enshrined statue in the agora of Thasos City, depicting the famous Olympic athlete Theagenes of Thasos who lived during the 5th century BCE.

By the time of the Peloponnesian War, the statue was inscribed with a symbol[1] that was part of a set needed to unlock the seal to the Isu city Atlantis.[2] As part of his research, the sculptor Phidias requested the Spartan misthios Kassandra to locate the symbol on the statue.[3]

Behind the scenes

  • The statue is based on the Boxer at Rest sculpture. However, this is anachronistic as the Boxer at Rest sculpture was made at some point between c. 330 and 50 BCE.
