Armand Bouchart (? - 1191) was the Grand Master of the Knights Templar, succeeding Robert de Sable. He bought the island Cyprus from Richard the Lionheart after he captured it from Isaac Comnenus. Here, he established his own rule alongside his fellow lieutenants: Moloch, Shalim, Shahar and Frederick the Red. The true reason of him being on the island was a sacred Templar Archive. His goal was to evacuate all the artifacts that were hidden there.

Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, Grand Master of the Assassin's Order and killer of Robert de Sable, sought Armand numerous times during his visit on Cyprus, with no success. By the time Armand Bouchart had already completed his plans and evacuated all of the Archive's artifacts, Altaïr caught up to him and the two had a duel, causing Armand's death.

Personality and characteristics

Armand Bouchart was a tall, slim man in his 40s. He was a master swordsman and the most powerful opponent Altaïr faced on Cyprus.

Tips

  • Do not grab Bouchart or he will counter-grab you. If he does so, quickly dodge.
  • If you do combo attacks, you must stop attacking when he blocks or he will punch and push you, causing you to lose one sync bar.
  • If Bouchart's health has only 1/4 remaining, he will throw fire bombs at you.
