The Argo Wreckage, in Korinthia.

The Argo is a ship in Greek mythology. Captained by Jason and home to the Argonauts, Argo was built by Argos, together with the goddess Athena.

According to the myth, the goddess carved Argo's bow out of a single sacred oak from Dodona. After Jason and the Argonauts' expedition to fetch the Golden Fleece was done, Argo was dedicated to the god Poseidon, brought to the Isthmus of Poseidon in Korinthia, and left outside the god's temple in Sanctuary of Isthmia.[1]

The remains of Argo were still there by the time of the Peloponnesian War when the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited them.[1]
