The Shinobi Training Ground was the training ground of the Iga ikki, situated within the forest south of Mibuno Vale in Iga, Japan. By 1582, Master Assassin Momochi Sandayu of the Kakushiba ikki led the instruction of the Igan shinobi until his death during the invasion of Iga.

In November 1579, Sandayu met with the young shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe and instructed her to investigate one of the watchtowers at Kunimiyama Fort. Handing her a grappling hook, Sandayu tasked her to find out what had happened to their brothers in arms.
