The Shepherd's Cane was a staff used by shepherds to herd their sheep. When the need arose, it did double duty as a weapon.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found this staff in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The Shepherd's Cane, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as a number of other similar weapons in the same game, including the Walking Stick. These are all the recycled model of the Peasant's Scepter, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
