The Scimitar was a sword obtainable for the Assassin Ezio Auditore during the Renaissance period, however, it could not be purchased in the Italian city of Rome. Ezio, instead, could acquire the weapon by disarming a guard whilst equipped with an empty heavy weapon sheath.
History
The Scimitar was an old Middle Eastern sword with a curved blade, mostly used by Arabs on horseback combat due to its light weight and ability to slash enemies with ease.
