The Sceptre was one of the seven legendary ships encountered by the Assassin-turned-Templar Shay Cormac in the North Atlantic during the Seven Years' War.

The Sceptre and the Argonaut worked as escort ships for the Assassin vessel, the Storm Fortress. In the event that the Storm Fortress was significantly damaged, the two would distract the enemy ships.
