Sardinia is a large island in the Mediterranean Sea. It is part of Italy, and lies west of it and just south of Corsica.

History

During the Renaissance, Sardinia was ruled by Ferdinand II, King of Aragon and ally of the Assassin Order.[1]

Following the Treaty of The Hague in 1720, the Kingdom of Sardina was handed by the Spanish Empire to the House of Savoy. The Templar Shay Cormac sent some of his men to the island to befriend the local governor, in order to keep an ear on French and Italian activities.[2]
