Sadhbh was a Gaelic noblewoman who married Bárid mac Ímair, the son of the Viking leader Ímair and King of Dublin in Ireland. The two had a son named Sichfrith.

In the 870s, Sadhbh travelled with Bárid's mother from Ireland on a pilgrimage to southern Europe to seek a potential cure for his mother's illness.[1] At some point, they arrived in Caldarez near the border of southern Francia, hoping that the waters from the Pyrenees would improve her health. When Bárid's mother's health had improved, Sadhbh wrote a letter back to Bárid in Dublin to report the news. In the letter, Sadhbh also urged Bárid to have patience with Sichfrith.[2]
