Poseidon's Trident was a trident which was said to belong to Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea.
A weapon coveted by sailors, the trident granted its wielder the ability to breathe underwater. During the Peloponnesian War, the trident was found by the misthios Kassandra in a chest within the Temple of Poseidon on Island of Triton, between Chios and Samos in the Aegean Sea.[1]

Trivia
- A strikingly similar trident was wielded by the Isu Poseidon in The Fate of Atlantis DLC. It is unknown if both are meant to be the same weapon.
