Perseus Crown was a headpiece which had allegedly belonged to Perseus, the legendary hero and son of Zeus. It was part of an armor set attributed to the heroes of Greek mythology.
During the Peloponnesian War, the headpiece was in the possession of a mercenary. The Spartan misthios Kassandra crossed paths with the mercenary and claimed the Crown for herself.[1]
