Perseus Helmet was a helmet belonging to Perseus, the legendary hero and son of Zeus. It was part of an armor set attributed to the heroes in Greek mythology.
During the Peloponnesian War, the helmet came into the possession of a mercenary. The Spartan misthios Kassandra later hunted down the mercenary and claimed the helmet for herself.[1]
