Pedro Llorente (unknown - 1492) was the Spanish Inquisition's Calficador.

Biography

Pedro worked with Tomás de Torquemada to round up men whose names had been given to them by Rodrigo Borgia, one of the three candidates for the position of Pope. Following this, the two claimed that these men were heretics, and deserved to die because of it.

In 1491, the Assassins Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Raphael Sánchez visited Zaragoza, where Pedro had stationed himself. As Ezio sought him out with the intention of assassinating him, he witnessed a conversation between Llorente and Torquemada, which revealed to Ezio why the men were being executed.

The two Inquisitors then oversaw the execution of an Assassin, after which Torquemada left. Following this, Ezio confronted Pedro and asked him about the Templars, to which the man denied having any knowledge of them. afterward, Ezio assassinated the man, as he was an unknowing ally to the Templars and was partly responsible for the death of one of his fellow Assassins.

Final words

  • Pedro: What's this? You're not allowed in here!
  • Ezio: Excuse my intrusion, but I was told you might know how to get me in contact with the Templars.
  • Pedro: The Templars? Surely you're joking, young man. The Templars were disgraced and disbanded two centuries ago. Rumors of their continued activities are as reliable as fairy tales...
  • Ezio: That's a shame, Pedro... if they don't exist they won't be able to save you...

Ezio forced his Hidden Blade into Pedro, killing him.
