Pearl Attaway (20 October 1833 – 1868) was a Templar, and the owner of Attaway Transport, which held sway over the import and export of goods in London during the 19th century. She was also the cousin of Grand Master Crawford Starrick.
Biography
A fierce competitor of her cousin Crawford Starrick's business, the Grand Master made sure that Pearl Attaway's business would be blocked from opportunities. Starrick's puppet, Malcolm Millner, owner of the Millner Company, often damaged Attaway's omnibuses and sabotaged her exploits in business.
By 1868, Attaway was offered a business proposal from the Assassin Jacob Frye who, unaware that Attaway was a Templar, offered to infiltrate Millner's storage yard and burned his omnibuses. This caught the interest of Attaway, accepting Jacob's offer.
