Paratiritirio was an abandoned ruins of a tower previously connected to the Walls-of-the-Ruler in Sinai, Egypt.
In 38 BCE, the tower was used as a camp by the Nabatean rebels, who collaborated with the Hidden Ones to eliminate the Romans. That year, the Hidden One Bayek of Siwa travelled to the tower to meet with Maqwat, a Hidden One placed in charge of surveying the fortification overseered by Ampelius.[1]
Bayek also found within it one of the Papyrus Puzzles.[2]
