Paula is the leader of the "Courtesans faction" (prostitutes) which the brothel is situated in Florence. Her parents were Assassins but she lost them when she was 8 years old. Without her family and living in the streets, she grew into a beautiful young teenager and used her charm. But she was captured and raped by a corrupt Florentine guard for several years before freeing herself and killing him. An Assassin informed by the "guard murdered crime" re-introduced her to the clan. She then started her business to help the other Florentine women in need, even if it is not the best way to... She will provide Ezio the help of her girls.
