Overgrown Ruins

The Overgrown Ruins was a fort on the island of Korfu, Greece, northwest of the Kataskopou Vineyard. During the Peloponnesian War, the ruins served as the base of operations for a pirate captain who commanded a bandit group.

History

After learning that the captain's bandits were holding Herodotos at the ruins, the misthios Kassandra traveled from the Quarry of Korkyra to the ruins. After eliminating the bandits and rescuing Herodotos, Kassandra went further into the ruins to confront the captain, who held the island's treasure, an Apple of Eden left behind by the Isu. Despite being enhanced and possessed with the artifact's power, Kassandra was able to defeat the captain, but when she walked close to the Apple, its energy began repelling the Spear of Leonidas, an Isu artifact she owned. The resulting power surge caused the Apple to fly off and depleted Kassandra's spear.[1]
