The Orpheus was a large and infamous British privateer ship that sailed the Caribbean Sea in the 1770s. In 1777, the Assassin flagship, the Aquila, led by Connor and Robert Faulkner, set out to destroy her and her fleet. On locating the ship, the Aquila confronted the Orpheus and her fleet in the midst of a storm, but were eventually able to destroy it.
