Moses (c. 1391 BCE – c. 1271 BCE) was a religious leader, lawgiver, and prophet to the Hebrew people of ancient Canaan, to whom the authorship of the Torah was traditionally credited. He was the most important prophet in Judaism and was also considered an important prophet by Christianity, Islam, the Bahá'í Faith, Rastafari, and many other religions.[1]
Biography
Moses' staff was, in reality, a Staff of Eden, which he used to free the Israelites from Egyptian rule and to part the Red Sea. Moses was also the first known member of humanity to possess a Staff of Eden.[2]
Legacy
In the early 40s BCE, the Medjay and later founder of the Hidden Ones, Bayek of Siwa experienced visions in the deserts of Egypt due to overheating. Some of these visions alluded to Moses' story from Exodus, including a burning bush and a man turning a staff into a snake.[3]
In 1191, the Levantine Assassins' Mentor Al Mualim asserted to his disciple Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad that Moses had used a Piece of Eden like the Apple of Eden on his desk to turn both his staff and his brother's rod into snakes, and to part and close the Red Sea.[4]
Details of Moses' life were later collected by the Assassin Clay Kaczmarek in 2012 while he was held captive by Abstergo Industries at their Animus Project laboratory in Rome. He then hid the information within the Animus 1.28 in Glyph puzzles for his successor, Desmond Miles.[2] Sometime in early September,[5] Desmond solved the puzzle set titled "Instruments of Power", in which Moses was included in a list of historic individuals who wielded a Staff of Eden.[2]
