This info better belongs in the memory page "Retribution". It can be mentioned here too but in that case, it would have to be integrated into the body and the writing so far doesn't provide enough context to do that neatly.

==Behind the scenes==
If players told Euthymos to stand up for himself in [[School of Hard Knocks]], he will storm the Ancient Stronghold alongside the player in [[Retribution]].
The Cultist general is tagged as a Guardian and is nothing more than a regular one with a unique character model.

The Ancient Stronghold was a fort in the Sky Fall Lakes region of the island of Lemnos, Greece. Once a fort occupied by the military, it had been abandoned by the time the Cult of Kosmos found the place. The Cult, notably the cultist Iobates the Stoic, occupied the fort, stationing a sizable force there.

In a small temple, the complex housed a statue of Asklepios, identifiable by the artistic rendering of the Rod of Asklepios held in its right hand.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra following a scytale decoded by her late friend Phidias, explored the locale and discovered a hidden back room containing treasures.[1] The stronghold was also frequented by a Cultist general who had been orchestrating the Cult's operation in the Hephaistos Islands, kidnapping and dosing athletes in an attempt to make 'superhuman' soldiers. Kassandra slew him[2] as well as Iobates.[3]

She also assassinated Iobates and the cultist general in order to stop their kidnappings and poisoning of the villagers.
