The Amyklai Farm

The Amyklai Farm was a settlement located within Forest of Eurotas in Lakonia, Greece.

Said to have been the home of the king of Sparta Tyndareus and his illustrious sons Kastor and Polydeukes, the location was known for its fruit trees.[1]

During the Peloponnesian War the farm was run by Lanike, and at the behest of Xanthe, the magistrate of Pitana, the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the farm, as well as its blacksmith.[2]
