Live Bait was a virtual representation of one of Ezio Auditore's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.
Description
Ezio Auditore approached a courtesan. She informed him of three ambassadors that had come to Roma to meet The Pope. The courtesan also told Ezio that she could lure them out for him to strike. Ezio followed the courtesan to the first ambassador without arousing any suspicion. She distracted him and Ezio quickly dispatched him without being noticed. The courtesan lead Ezio to the next ambassador. She lured him into a secluded area and Ezio killed him. They got to the third ambassador, the courtesan lured him out to the pier and Ezio struck him.
Dialogue
- Courtesan: Ezio, I will lead you to three ambassadors. They are here to with meet the Pope, but will answer to God much sooner than they expect. Allow me to lure them out before you strike.
Ezio and the courtesan reached the first ambassador.
- Courtesan: Hans! You asked me if I had any friends you could play with! I have invited one!
- Ambassador: Who? Where is she?
- Courtesan: Wait right there! (To Ezio) Follow.
Ezio killed the ambassador and they proceeded to the next one.

- Ambassador: This is inappropriate.
- Courtesan: Not compared to what I plan to do to you.
The courtesan lured him into a secluded area and Ezio killed him. The courtesan lead him to the third ambassador, who was accompanied by two Brutes.
- Courtesan: Follow me. I have something to show you.
- Brute: If he won't go, I will.
- Ambassador: No, I will take care of this.
The courtesan lured him onto a pier.
- Ambassador: What are you planning, woman?
Ezio killed the ambassador and talked to the courtesan.
- Courtesan: Addio (Goodbye), Ezio. Stay safe.
