Le Chasseur (French: The Hunter; unknown – 1756) was a spy operating in New York, North Atlantic and River Valley during the Seven Years War between Britain and France. Le Chasseur would often gather vital information for the Assassins, such as the location of the box and manuscript sought after by Shay Cormac.

Le Chasseur was also responsible for finding an engineer to build the Puckle Gun for the Morrigan.

Le Chasseur eventually died in 1756, killed by Shay Cormac after the latter turned Templar.
