Lagertha's Axe

Lagertha's Axe was a battleaxe used in England during the 9th century by the shieldmaiden Lagertha, the first wife of Ragnar Lothbrok and mother to Halfdan.

During her travels, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan acquired this Dane axe at Houseteads, Eurviscire.[1]
