Kadar does not do much in the beginning except follow you in short passage you must follow in Solomon's Temple in the beginning. He then listens to Malik and Altair argue. When Altair reveals that he is there, Kadar and Malik come to join the fight but after Altair is thrown out of the room and forced to leave, it is unknown how long Kadar lasted in the fight before he was killed. When Altair returns to Al Mualim, Malik reveals that Kadar died in Solomon's Temple. Malik, already embittered toward Altaïr for his breaking of the Tenets, is infuriated by his brother's death. He believes that without Altaïr's arrogant actions, Kadar would have lived, and he (Malik) would not have lost his arm.

Notes

It was speculated that he was not killed immediately, but instead taken hostage, being the hostage Robert de Sable had executed outside the Assassins' fortress. However, the hostage is not wearing the robes of a novice that Kadar was wearing in the temple. Malik himself had said that Kadar died at Solomon's Temple.
