The Amazon Galley was an East India Company merchant ship captained by the Templar Benjamin Pritchard during the early 18th century.

In January 1713, the Amazon Galley was acosted by the Emperor, a recently-turned pirate ship captained by Alexander Dolzell and crewed by, among others, Edward Kenway. Following Pritchard's interrogation, the crew of the Emperor boarded the Amazon and began to loot its cargo. Shortly thereafter, the Emperor was itself attacked by the British privateer vessel Sea Dog's Bite, captained by Edward Thatch.[1]
