Jonas (unknown – 1192) was a merchant from Kyrenia, who was wrongfully assassinated by the Mentor of the Levantine Assassins, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, on the orders of a man impersonating Barnabas, the Cypriot Resistance leader.

The news of Jonas' death by Altaïr's hand triggered a riot in Kyrenia, as Jonas was highly respected in the Cypriot society.
