John de la Tour was an Assassin who founded the American branch of the Assassin Brotherhood in Colonial America.

Trivia

Connor could wear John de la Tour's Colonial Assassin outfit, which was unlocked with the Join or Die and Digital Deluxe Editions of Assassin's Creed III, or with The Hidden Secrets Pack.
John also owned another outfit, one which he passed down to Achilles Davenport.
